In the dead of a Detroit winter, Billy Pearl, a Jewish combat vet with a knack for trouble, gets in over his head with a local gangster who wants to know if one of his men is ripping him off.  When the man Billy’s investigating offers to restore Billy’s beat-up GTO to its former glory, things start to get complicated. Especially when the man’s beautiful wife begins a risky flirtation. Torn between his girlfriend, a brash stand-up comic with dreams of L.A., and the dangerous woman now in his orbit, Billy’s situation goes from tricky to downright dangerous.
